Bio

Millicent King Channell, DO, MA, FAAO, FNAOME is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and Board Certified in Family Medicine/OMT, and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine/Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (NMM/OMM).  She has served in numerous academic roles, including as a Residency Director, as well as, Department Chair for OMM. Dr. Channell has made numerous scholarly contributions to osteopathic medicine; most notably she co-authored the book The 5 - Minute Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Consult (Wolters Kluwer 2019, LWW, 2008).

Dr Channell is a graduate of the Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine® (ELAM) Program at Drexel University College of Medicine and the Costin Institute at Midwestern University.  She is actively involved in the Osteopathic profession, currently serving on American Academy of Osteopathy (AAO) Board of Trustees. She previously served on the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education's (ACGME) Osteopathic Principles Committee and as a member of the Board of Directors for the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners (NBOME).

Currently, Dr. Channell is the Associate Dean for Curriculum, and Professor of OMM at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (RowanSOM).
