Adrienne Ables has been a medical educator for over 30 years. After earning her Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University College of Pharmacy, she continued her training at the Medical University of South Carolina where she earned a Doctorate in Pharmacy. Her learners include medical and pharmacy students, residents, faculty members, preceptors, and full-time practicing clinicians. A life-long learner, Dr. Ables earned a Masters degree in Medical Education Leadership after 25 years of teaching. She has won numerous awards for teaching excellence and was inducted by the National Academy of Osteopathic Medical Educators as a Fellow for her accomplishments in teaching and evaluation. A dynamic and dedicated individual, Adrienne brings her passion into her work in faculty development, mentoring, scholarship, interprofessional education, and curricular design.
Outside of work, Adrienne enjoys hiking, reading novels, studying foreign languages, cooking, and spending time with Maggie (mini-schnauzer).
