Bio

Polly E. Leonard, DO, MS, FNAOME is a Clinical Associate Professor at UNECOM and in private practice in Warwick, Rhode Island. She graduated from UNECOM in 1996, after completing an OMM/Anatomy pre-doctoral fellowship. She is board certified in both Osteopathic Family Practice and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. She was elected a Fellow of the National Academy of Osteopathic Medical Educators in 2012. She served her rotating internship at Memorial Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts, and completed her training at the New Hampshire-Dartmouth Family Practice Residency in Lebanon, New Hampshire. She completed her Master of Medical Education Leadership degree at UNECOM in 2011. She was the founding DME for the Kent Hospital Residencies. Dr. Leonard is President of the New England Osteopathic Medical Education Network and serves on the Society of Osteopathic Medical Educators Steering Committee at AACOM. In addition to private practice, she consults for medical education entities who need assistance in program design, curriculum development, core competency plan development, and other infrastructure projects.
